The afternoon begins at 2:15 p.m. in the Lykke Center with a choir reception open to guests. Attendees are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a cookie, and celebrate the choir’s accomplishments. The event will also include a moment to recognize and say farewell to graduating seniors. Music merchandise will be available for purchase during this time.

At 3:00 p.m., the Grand View Choir will present its home concert in the sanctuary. The performance reflects the artistry and growth of the ensemble throughout its tour and provides a meaningful opportunity for the campus and local community to share in the experience.

The Grand View Choir embarked on an exciting Spring Tour, traveling from March 13th to March 20th with stops in Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Under the direction of Dr. Joshua Boggs and accompanied by Rachel Cohen on piano, 31 talented Grand View University musicians performed at congregations across four states, including a special workshop with the Bozeman Symphony Chorus in Montana. Along the way, the choir enjoyed sightseeing, including a day at a national park in Montana and a visit to Mount Rushmore.

A recommended donation of 10 dollars per person is appreciated. Contributions help support future choir tours and help ensure that students are able to participate in these opportunities without financial barriers.
