Ms. Blaedel is also speaking to a couple creative writing classes on campus.
Sara’s career began as a books-in-translation publisher years ago, bringing mysteries and thrillers in translation to Denmark.  She is now a well-known author of a series of books featuring the detective Louise Rick.  Sara can speak to a group about her series in Denmark, internationally, and in the US, as well as answer questions. Her new book, “The Killing Forest,” has a lot to do with Nordic religions/cults, so she could talk about what inspired her to write about that.  She can also speak to the business angle of publishing and promotion.
She will be touring the US to promote her new book, The Killing Forest, which will be released on February 2. It follows the #1 international bestseller The Forgotten Girls (2015), which was roundly praised by the Washington Post, among others, and hailed as her best work by Børsen.
