Grand View Graphic Design Program Earns National and International Recognition

Hyena Nam, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Grand View University, is receiving recognition in the international design community. Her recent research project, Enhancing User Experience in Planning Busan Tourism, earned top honors at the prestigious Indigo International Awards taking home two Gold Awards in Mobile App Design and Promotional Materials for Graphic Design, along with a Silver Award in Branding for Graphic Design. In addition, another of her professional branding projects was recognized with two Silver Awards.
“I’m incredibly grateful that my work has been recognized by multiple international design awards and featured alongside the work of other talented creatives from around the world,” Nam shared.
Graphic Design students from Grand View have also been honored nationally and internationally for their exceptional work. Student projects received recognition from respected organizations such as the Art Directors Association of Iowa (ADAI), the London International Creative Competition (LICC), and the Indigo International Awards.
“I couldn’t be prouder of our students and their well-deserved recognition from these prestigious competitions, further affirming the strength of the Graphic Design program at Grand View University,” Nam added.
