Grand View University Achieves Record-Breaking Year for GV Fund
August 8, 2025
Grand View University is proud to announce the most successful year in the history of its annual fund. The GV Fund raised an unprecedented $508,449 during the 2024–2025 fiscal year. This milestone reflects extraordinary support from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University.
The GV Fund provides essential, unrestricted dollars that directly support student scholarships, state-of-the-art technology, campus improvements, and academic innovation.
“This is a proud moment for Grand View,” said LB Lyons, Vice President for Advancement. “The record-setting success of the GV Fund speaks to our community’s powerful commitment to this institution and to our students. Every gift, regardless of size, strengthens Grand View today and for the future.”
Much of the growth came from increased new donor engagement, a record-breaking Viktory Day, and continued support from loyal alumni and friends. Other highlights included funding for the nursing simulation lab, increased endowment support, and expanded contributions to Grand View athletic programs.
Grand View University President Dr. Rachelle Keck praised the milestone and its impact: “We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown this year. The GV Fund provides the margin of excellence that allows us to go above and beyond for our students. This success is a testament to our donors’ belief in our mission and the strength of our Grand View family.”
The funds raised will immediately support priority needs across campus, including student scholarships, facility improvements, and technology upgrades in classrooms and labs.
“This kind of collective support moves the needle in meaningful ways,” said Carrie Sponheim, Director of Annual Giving. “It allows us to be responsive and forward-thinking, ensuring every student who walks through our doors has the resources and opportunities to thrive.”
