Human Services Honor Society

For the first time in Grand View University history, the Human Services Program has been granted a charter of Tau Upsilon Alpha of the National Organization of Human Services Honor Society (NOHS), Chi Xi Chapter. They will induct 10 members in April, 2018.

Two faculty, Dr. Jill Sudak-Allison and Dr. Kristine Owens, in addition to eight students, Tami Andrews, Brittany Carlson, Christina Dimit, Taylor Hovey, Amber Kluender, Jessica Palmer, Jessica Ward, and Debbie Wood, have earned this distinction in academic excellence; to foster lifelong learning, leadership and development; and to promote excellence in service to humanity. Pictured are Taylor Hovey, Jessica Ward, Tami Andrews and Jessi Palmer.

Students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.25, have completed at least 36 hours at GVU, and are engaged in service learning, can apply to the TUA, Human Service’s Honor Society.  Applicants are accepted from human services and related fields.
