Katy Severe Reappointed to Iowa Dyslexia Board

Congratulations to Katy Severe, Professor of Practice in Education and Dyslexia Specialist Endorsement Program Coordinator at Grand View, on her reappointment to the Iowa Dyslexia Board for an additional three-year term.

Severe recently completed her first term on the state advisory board and will continue representing Iowa institutions of higher education through her role at Grand View University.

The Iowa Dyslexia Board works in partnership with the Iowa Department of Education to strengthen dyslexia identification, instruction, and support for students across the state. Board members bring expertise from education, literacy, and related fields to help guide statewide efforts that improve outcomes for students with dyslexia.
