PSYC Lab Presents Research in Chicago

April 25, 2018

Twelve Grand View students from the PSYC Lab presented research at the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) in Chicago. The three posters they presented were titled: (1)The Turban Myth, (2) Building a Wall: How Self-Selected Media Increases Bias and Prejudice, and (3) Two Important Factors that Increase Illusory Recollection.

MPA is a professional research conference that draws researchers from across the country. So, these research undergraduates presented alongside professors and professional researchers. Dr. Josh Woods and Dr. Jill Sudak-Allison also presented research at the MPA conference. Due to the success at this conference, some of these students will present at an international conference in San Francisco in May.
