Sarah Roemer Elected Vice President for Iowa's Phi Beta Lambda
December 12, 2017
Congratulations to Sarah Roemer, an Accounting Major at Grand View. She has been elected to serve as Vice President for Iowa's Phi Beta Lambda student organization. Sarah was appointed to fill the position for the remainder of 2017-2018. She currently serves as Secretary for Grand View's PBL Club.
"I'm pleased to have been chosen to become the State of Iowa Vice President for Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization and represent Grand View University," says Sarah. "Being new to Phi Beta Lambda this year and becoming the Secretary of our local chapter has given me the opportunity to work with our Grand View University staff, students, and local businesses. These opportunities helped me decide to apply for the Vice President position and continue building my relationships within the business community. With this new position, there will be additional responsibilities along with building networks at a larger scale. I'm excited to be able to bring these experiences back to our campus and share with others."
Sarah continues, "I want to thank Grand View staff, students, fellow Phi Beta Lambda members, Mr. Ruisch, family and friends for supporting me on my journey and encouraging me to follow my dreams."
PBL prepares students for careers in business and is the largest business student organization in the world.
Congratulations to Sarah on this prestigious appointment and for representing Grand View's Business Department well!
