July 2, 2020
Grand View University faculty and graduate students in the Master of Science in Sport Management (MSSM) program recently completed a study assessing factors influencing football participation among Iowa high school students. Recent graduates Astrid Araya, Alex Bush, and Artie Bess joined Drs. Scott Bull and Mark Slavich for the first-of-its-kind, state-wide research project. Surveys were collected from more than 7,000 male Iowa high school students, aimed at investigating motives and constraints for football participation among both football and non-football playing students. Full results of the study can be viewed here.
