Students Honored at Iowa College Media Association Awards Ceremony

On Thursday, February 6, 24 Grand View University students were honored at the Iowa College Media Association (ICMA) awards ceremony. The students won awards for their work in radio, television, written journalism and photography.

First-place entries included Kelsey Woodruff’s “Addicted to A’s,” which won Best Investigative News Story; Brian Grace’s “Inside the Head of an Athlete,” which won Best Sports Story; John Ross’s “Does Vaping Kill,” which won Best Cover; and Zachary Finn’s “Kettle Cooked Lays,” which won Best Radio Commercial. Viewfinder Media also took home the first place award for Best Online Edition.
