The World Food Prize Foundation Selects Grand View Student Molly Hart for Prestigious George Washington Carver Internship Program

July 21, 2020

The World Food Prize Foundation announced the selection of Molly Hart of Altoona, Iowa as a Summer 2020 George Washington Carver Intern. Molly is a senior History major at Grand View University and will graduate in May 2021.

Every school semester and summer, the World Food Prize Foundation selects a number of extraordinarily qualified students for its George Washington Carver (GWC) Internship program. Since its founding in 2001, the GWC Internship has impacted hundreds of students and given them the opportunity to learn about not only the operation and impact of an international non-profit organization, but also about the importance of global food security.

Hart is one of 17 selected interns and will work in archives, documenting and organizing the history of the World Food Prize Foundation.

"I hope to gain a deeper insight into archival organization and creation, as well as learn more about the history of the Foundation and the efforts of our laureates,” said Hart.
