Viewfinder Media Wins Top Iowa College Media Association Awards

Viewfinder Media, the student-led print, online, audio, and video media organization at Grand View, won several top awards at the Iowa College Media Association annual awards ceremony. For the second straight year, Viewfinder took home the top award for Overall Print & Online Excellence, competing against 11 other schools from around the state.

• First Place, Best Investigative Reporting: Taylor Thomas
• First Place, Best Sports Photo: Ashlee Seaton
• First Place, Best Sports Feature Reporting: Taylor Thomas
• First, Second, and Third Place, Best Online Design (they swept this category): Jason Fuhs, Camden Blowers, and Danielle Castillo
• First Place, Audio Feature Package: Charlie Deyoe-Snyder
• First Place, Best Video News Programming: Blake Walker and Danielle Castillo
• Best Multimedia Slideshow: Sarah Rush
