Todd married his wife Sarah in 2001 and they have two daughters: Grace and Claire. He has close to 20 years experience working in sports media (much of that time in television news) and has been lucky enough to cover a Super Bowl, Daytona 500, Heisman Trophy ceremonies, college football bowl games and more. He also won a Midwest Emmy for a video project I produced for The Des Moines Register.

What makes Grand View unique among other universities?
I like the community feeling of our campus. I am a graduate of Grand View and grew up in Des Moines so it has been fun to watch our campus grow as the city has grown. Our students are very actively involved beyond the classroom and I think that gives them a very well-rounded college experience.
What is your favorite part about working at Grand View?
I enjoy the interaction with the students and the opportunity to share the stories of their successes.
