Alex has been in Campus Ministry at Grand View since 2014 and works primarily with students to equip them and help them lead ministries on campus. Alex is also an alumnus of Grand View where he earned his Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership. Outside of work, Alex is a worship leader at his church and a leadership coach. He lives in Ames with his wife, Sarah.

What makes Grand View unique among other universities?
Working in Campus Ministry, I have discovered that Grand View has a lot of religious diversity for a Lutheran-affiliated university. This lends itself to a lot of opportunity for great dialogue and discussion between people of different backgrounds and beliefs.
What is your favorite part about working at Grand View?
I love working with the students. They are in such a pivotal point in their life as they discover their purpose and calling. I enjoy being a part of that process as they explore their vocation.
