Aaron Puhrmann Elected to Board of Directors of the Midwest Sociological Society

Aaron Puhrmann, Ph.D., associate professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Grand View University, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Midwest Sociological Society (MSS), a regional professional organization dedicated to advancing sociological research, teaching, and public engagement.

The Midwest Sociological Society serves scholars, educators, and practitioners across the region by promoting collaboration, supporting professional development, and fostering research that addresses pressing social issues. As a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Puhrmann will help guide the organization’s strategic direction, support its annual conference and programming, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the discipline of sociology.
