Dr. Kim-Cho Publishes Collaborative Research on Undergraduate Engagement in Journalism Education

Yeon Erin Kim-Cho, PhD, Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Communication and Media Practice at Grand View University, has co-authored a new article in Journalism & Mass Communication Educator. The publication stems from the work of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) Presidential Task Force on Undergraduate Research and Engagement. The team presented its initial findings at the 2025 AEJMC conference, and that presentation became the foundation for the manuscript.

This project represents a cross-institutional collaboration, bringing together colleagues from universities across the country, including the University of Missouri School of Journalism, the University of Arizona, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kennesaw State University, Northwestern University in Qatar, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Grand View University.
