Grand View University Alumni Recognized in the Business Record 2026 Forty Under 40

Grand View University proudly celebrates three alumni who have been named to the 2026 Forty Under 40 list by The Business Record, a prestigious recognition honoring young professionals who demonstrate exceptional career achievement and meaningful community impact across Central Iowa.
This annual program recognizes 40 rising leaders under the age of 40 who are selected by a panel of past honorees based on professional accomplishments and civic involvement throughout Des Moines and the surrounding region.
Grand View University congratulates the following alumni whose accomplishments earned them a place among this year’s honorees.
Bailee Arnburg ’19, director of sports at Catch Des Moines. Arnburg is recognized for her leadership in sports programming and community engagement, helping position the region as a welcoming destination for athletes, families and events.
Taufeek Shah ’16, chief executive officer of Lola's Fine Sauces. Shah has led the growth of the locally based brand through a focus on quality, innovation and community partnerships.
Val Veiock BA ’15, MS ’17, owner of Bing's. Veiock has continued the legacy of one of the community’s most recognizable dining destinations while strengthening its role in the city’s cultural and social landscape.
