Viktory Day Raises Support for Grand View Students

Grand View University’s fifth annual Viktory Day of Giving brought in 877 gifts and raised $132,768 to support Grand View students, athletic programs, and academic departments. The 2026 Viktory Day featured a record number of challenge gifts from alumni and friends, inspiring donations to multiple areas across campus.

“Viktory Day continues to show the incredible strength of the Viking community,” said LB Lyons ’08, vice president for advancement. “Reaching 877 gifts is a testament to the alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends who believe in creating opportunities for current and future Vikings. Their generosity helps ensure that Grand View students have the resources and support they need to thrive.”

Throughout the day, alumni and friends shared Grand View memories on social media and sent messages of appreciation to the faculty and staff who made an impact on their time at Grand View. Current students celebrated Viktory Day with breakfast, a photo booth, and the opportunity to thank alumni and friends for their support.
