Grand View Education Programs Fully Accredited Until 2031

Grand View University’s Education Programs have once again earned full accreditation, reaffirming our commitment to preparing high-quality teachers and educational leaders. The Iowa Department of Education Board voted unanimously to approve the accreditation following a comprehensive review process that concluded last week.

Accreditation for teacher and practitioner preparation programs in Iowa occurs on a seven-year cycle. Grand View underwent its most recent review during the 2024–2025 academic year. After months of self-study, site visits, interviews with faculty, students, and school partners, and an in-depth evaluation by the Iowa Department of Education, the board determined that Grand View’s Education Programs continue to meet all required standards for excellence.

With this approval, Grand View’s Education Programs are fully accredited through the 2031–2032 academic year, when the next review will take place.
