Grand View University will host a three-day Valorant Summer Camp June 12–14 in the Esports Arena Red located in Nielsen Residence Hall. The camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST and is open to players of all experience levels.
Designed for students looking to improve their competitive gaming skills, the camp offers hands-on instruction from Grand View’s Valorant Head Coach Allan Brewer and Director of Esports Nathan Ragsdell. Participants will gain valuable experience in gameplay fundamentals, strategy development, teamwork, and the skills needed to thrive both in Valorant and other esports titles.
With more than 10 years of combined esports experience, Grand View’s coaching staff will guide campers through key concepts including teamwork, effective practice habits, strategy creation, economy management, maps, macro and micro play, pattern recognition, site control, fight planning, vision, visual aggro, awareness, and game sense.
The camp focuses not only on improving individual gameplay, but also on helping students understand what it takes to be a strong teammate and competitor in a team-based esports environment.
Lunch will be provided each day by Grand View Esports, and every attendee will receive a camp T-shirt. The cost to attend is $150.
This camp is ideal for students interested in sharpening their competitive edge, learning from experienced coaches, and exploring opportunities within the growing world of collegiate esports.
