NextGen Advisory Board Application
Purpose and membership
The primary purpose of The Jacobson Institute (The JI) is to enable Grand View University to be a resource by providing skills, training, and assessment for a future ready workforce. The JI will serve as a resource to Prepare, Produce, and Pivot for the future world of work. The NextGen Advisory Board consist of young professional leaders who provide a vital service to The JI. The NextGen Advisory Board exists to support efforts and continually improve the quality of education it provides to its learners. It serves to increase public awareness, promote interests, and advance the priorities of The JI to bring the best in education, business partnerships, student learning, and community engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador and advocate for The JI at Grand View University.
- Provide advice and support to programs, assist in the development of innovative ideas, and identify industry opportunities.
- Assist with The JI marketing and promotion of events and programs.
- Attend board meetings and other events/functions.
