Communication: Social Media Management Concentration

Effective social media management is now the foundation of many organizations' communications strategy, and this important communications work demands qualified communications professionals. The Social Media Management concentration in Grand View's Communication program will prepare students for this growing career field by giving them hands-on, real-world experience strategizing and producing content across social media platforms, culminating in a social media capstone.

Students in the communication department have the opportunity to create content for Viewfinder Media including newscasts, Viewfinder magazine, a podcast, and much more, providing hands-on experiences and developing skill sets for their career.
Faculty in Grand View's communication department have years of experience in the communication field.
